Problem Resolution
This self-adhesive sand paper has been the answer to many of my finishing issues, I recommend it to all wood finishers especially luthiers.

Finish Revelation
I was using Lacquer however due to toxic smell limited times that I could finish my guitars. I tried water base finishes however they just did not measure up. A friend suggested Tru-Oil, it is actually easier to apply and work with building up and evening the surfaces, very high gloss in some cases no buffing required. O' no complaints from the family the odor is very low even in comparison to the water base finish. I also recommend wet sanding with lemon oil, also much easier the water or soap solution.
