We recommend The One Year Bible as a great format for disciplined Bible reading. If you want to slow it down, you can easily use the plan to stretch it out for two years. We appreciate the readability and accuracy of the New Living Translation.

In our culturally relative world where everyone's disparate views are considered valid "truth" in their own mind, it is encouraging to go to absolute truth: the time-tested truth of God's inspired Word, the Bible. The format of the One Year Bible is a convenient way to plow through the Old and New Testaments, with the Psalms and Proverbs, in a year; very do-able.
