Lightweight, portable, inexpensive and perhaps too small for some players.
The price was good, but is much smaller than I anticipated. I didn't read the dimension information carefully enough. It is definitely portable, lightweight and will fit in your pocket. It's a good set for kids, as it is advertised.
But, if your eyes are and fingers aging, it may be difficult to use, especially if you are traveling on a bus, train or plane. It may be hard to distinguish among the pieces and to deftly pick them up and place them on another square.

Great book for kids and adults new to chess!
1 of 1 found this helpful Inviting,colorfully illustrated book for everyone new to chess. Kids can follow it to learn on their own. Parents can use it to learn AND as an excellent teaching aid. Well worth the price.
