Polypropylene Wrinkles
There is a big difference between polypropylene rugs when it comes to weaves and pile. This rug has no pile, and is a wide strand woven rug. It can be used indoors or outdoors. I bought it for a dining room because I liked the pattern and color. It was packaged well and tightly rolled. When unrolled, the rug had many "humps and bumps" after being stored and tightly rolled. I used weights and mild heat (room temp 75) to try and get the rug to lay flat, and gave up after 10 days. If this rug could lay in the hot sun for a day and get fully pliable, it might lay flat, but that was not an option in KY in January.
It is certainly a sturdy, well made rug, and reasonably priced, but be aware of what type of weave and/or pile you are buying.
