Tangled mess
Not that great. The light is harsh and either blinks like a strobe or is l on or off. Could be ok for outdoors, but man once it gets tangled it will take years off your life trying to straighten it out.

Joyo American sound is great for what it is.
It's a nice little preamp. I got it to put in front of a Roland Cube 60. The cube is a nice articulate amp but it doesnt sound like a fender. This thing in front of it gets it pretty darn close. I took one star because if you boost the treble and lower the bass and mid for that clean Jerry Garcia time, it sounds a bit harsh, but if that's not not what you are going for then I highly recommend it.

It works, but...
It's good quality and does what it's supposed to. I got it to replace a big expression pedal so it can fit on my board. Real estate is tight so it's difficult to get the accurate sweep that I got from my bigger pedal.
I use it to control the volume of my delay fredback. It's tough to dial in just the right amount, but other than that I'd recommend it.
