Great Learning Tool
3 of 3 found this helpful I introduced my 8 year old son to Scratch recently, and wanted to start slow. He kept wanting to move ahead before getting the basics down. After a while, he said "Dad, maybe we could look into LEGO Boost." I had already ordered Boost, because I thought that might be a better way to start coding with faster results. He was pumped when it came, and dove right in. With the app, there is a great mix of fixed features, as well as ways to create outside the 5 different builds of the Boost set. YouTube offers lots of great ideas for new builds as well as spicing up sets we already had (i.e. one of the Ninjago dragons). I would recommend Boost to anyone who wants to add a neat new dimension to their LEGO tool box - especially to those who want to introduce their child to coding.
