Nice for the price
This is a nice product for the price. Easy to set up and solid. It's been up a few weeks through a little rain and wind. No problems yet.

Great Insecticide Spreader
1 of 1 found this helpful I use this tool to perform part of my perimeter insect pest control service. It works flawlessly every day to apply a granular insecticide barrier around my customers homes. Way better than a manual spreader. I have all the ryobi sprayers and misters also. They are all good products for the price. I bought mine without a battery or charger because I have several batteries and chargers. I'm not sure what battery that it comes with if you buy that included but the 4.0 amp battery works great in mine. I can put out a 25-lb bag of granules on one charge without any problems. I'm sure it will do much more but I have a car charger for mine and I have never run it dead doing a whole day's work. A really cool thing about this spreader and all of the Ryobi sprayers and hand tools that take the 18-volt lithium battery is that you can use any of 18V ONE plus batteries in all the tools. Depending on how long you want to run the tool off of one charge you can get a battery that gives you what you want. They start out at about 1.5 amp and go up all the way to 9.0 amp if you buy the Chinese versions. They are less than half the price of the Ryobi name brand batteries and for me they have worked great. The bigger batteries are much heavier so take that into account when you purchase.
