Another Squirrel Buster Masterpiece!
Put this up for the cardinals, so that they wouldn't crowd the smaller songbirds from the nearby smaller "standard" Squirrel Buster. Wouln't you know ... the smaller birds flock to the new, bigger feeder and the doggoned cardinals stay on the small one! Doesn't matter, everyone's getting fed. These feeder are built not only to be bird-proof, they're strong enough to be bullet-proof! Very pleased with product.

Gods as envisioned by humans must indeed by crazy!
"The Gods Must Be Crazy" is a delightful parable, mixing modernity-vs-aboriginal with zany slapstick, with keen insights into the foibles of human nature. Not the most profound tale, yet lightly engaging. First saw this when it showed in theaters in 1980, and it was pleasant to renew acquaintance with dauntless Xi, bumbling lovestruck Andrew, and bemused Kate.
This film is not up to current production standards, and some may be put off by having to rely on English subtitles to translate the Bushman and Afrikaans dialogue. Ah, c'mon, give it a break! This is an uniquely crafted tale, well worth seeing if you'd enjoy light humor that's not just the-same-old-same-old that Hollywood gins out.
The special feature related to the actual production of the file and it's Bushman star, the late N!xau, are profoundly bittersweet.
(Review refers to original film. Second film not yet seen.)

Billie's still the queen!
What can I possibly say about Billie Holiday that hasn't already been said many times?
