DO NOT BUY flimsy and poor quality
1 of 1 found this helpful DO NOT BUY
In order to save shipping costs they have made the tubing too thin which reduces costs and shipping weight but makes it too flexy and flimsy for my 160 lb body which is a joke. Don't let the photos fool you - the tubing looks strong because it is large diameter, but it is very thin walled steel so nothing like gym quality or strength. They made it 'height adjustable' for the pull up bar, which is really just so they can make it short enough for shipping to get under the UPS and Fedex size maximums to avoid truck freight shipping. This is good at first glance, but the problem is they used a very cheap and weak design at the adjustment joint that allows a lot of slop and flex which makes pull ups or any use of the overhead bar very sketchy.
Additionally, the rear back support for leg lifts (the red pad in photos) is a very poor design which is in the wrong position. It's also very bulky behind the unit making it hard to get close to the wall. If that was not enough it is so poorly welded that just putting my back against it for my first leg lifts made it flex so far as to bend it, and then the welds cracked when attempting to straighten it. It's barely hanging on now.
The elbow pads for leg lifts are too far forward and will need to be re-positioned, but this is probably just drilling some new holes so not a terribly difficult fix.
Lucky for me I'm a welder and had planned to make some reinforcements as necessary, but it's even worse than I thought it would be. If you can't weld this item to reinforce it as necessary do not buy it, you will be very disappointed.

Tough but bulky
This is the toughest case there is, but to get that toughness requires bulk and there is plenty of that here. The outer surface being rubber is good for shock absorption but a little too grippy when going in your pocket, it tends to grab and get hung up as you push it in.
One BIG hidden benefit is if you get the 'belt clip' with it (it is an included accessory but there are many on ebay that don't include it) it can be modified and used as a car mount bracket. The way it fits to the case is a very solid 'click' and very secure once attached, perfect for a car mount bracket. This required extensive mods and might be beyond your typical skill set but works fantastic and it's the main reason I'm still using this case. It literally gives more protection than I need and is quite bulky.

Great fit and performance, plating is a little too blue
Good cable, good fit. If I were to get picky, the plating on the metal is a little too 'bluish' of a silver to pass for original, so restorers looking for a 100 point resto score might have an issue. Otherwise perfect.
