Logitech Hyperion Fury G402 Gaming Mouse* Brand New & Factory Sealed* Free Ship*
Mar 29, 2016
Wow great bang for the buck!
This is my first gaming mouse. Previously I was playing with a crappy verbatim mouse so I obviously expected this to be better. First the design: I was originally interested in the g502 proteus spectrum but the price tag was killing me. I looked at the g402 and they are, as far as I can tell, mostly the same design. I fingertip grip and the only complaint I have is there is no support for my pinky and ring finger the way say a mionix mouse has. Didn't seem to bother me too much as I played CS GO for a while after I got the mouse and wasn't uncomfortable. Longer sessions will probably prove to be different lol. I was also afraid I was going to be constantly hitting the dpi adjustment buttons on the LMB and it hasn't happened once. Software: This was one of my deciding factors in getting this mouse. It has some very user friendly software you can download from logitechs website. Program buttons, heat maps, custom dpi settings, etc. Performance: I was so eager to play I didn't mess with the dpi adjustments in the software and instead just selected one of the defaults. Mouse was smooth and fast with no notice of acceleration or any weirdness like that. I was also playing without a mouse pad and the sensor performed flawlessly. The L&RMB are responsive and the MBM was easy to click although I do wish the scroll wheel was a little more tactile. Minor complaint. Value: $28.99 and I could not be happier. I was going back and forth between this, the deathadder, tt esports talon blu, g502, and a mionix. Ultimately I just felt that dollar for dollar this was the best mouse and I think I made a good decision. One thing I will say though as a PC gaming noob is that you can do all of the research you want (like I did) but until you have that mouse in your hand there is no way to know whether or not you like it. Go to best buy and try and get your hands on a few otherwise it's just a shot in the dark IMO.

Logitech G300s Optical Gaming Mouse 910-004360

Bought to use at work.
I have a G402 I use at home on my gaming pc and ever since I got it my mouse at work felt a little "off". So I decided I needed to get something better. I was going to get another G402 but decided against it because the styling is a little aggressive to use at my work. I found a used g300s for $19 and couldn't pass it up. Upon receiving the mouse the first thing I noticed is this thing is light. I thought the G402 was light but the g300s is much lighter. The g300s is also much smaller than the 402 which is fine. I fingertip / claw grip anyway so the smaller size didn't really bother me. The shape is ok but I find the g402 more comfortable. I do wish it was a tad wider at the front as I find myself putting my middle finger on the macro buttons on the right side. The sensor feels great and is much smoother than the POS wireless mouse I was using before. Of course you get the awesome logitech software with this mouse so you can set your dpi adjustment, make profiles, adjust lighting, etc. I am able to play CSGO on my lunch break and the g300s works as a fps mouse but is probably better suited for use as a MOBA mouse. I knew this going in but I couldn't pass up the price. The switches feel good but I don't like the feel of pressing in the scroll wheel....it just feels hollow. Minor complaint though. Overall it's a logitech and for what I am using it for (work with occasional CSGO sessions during lunch) it suits me just fine. If i were playing a lot of MOBAS at home i'd consider this a good gaming mouse. I do not feel it is ideal for fps play however. With any mouse though you really need to try it for yourself because everyone is different.
