There is a new McKinley on the block & a good one !
6 of 6 found this helpful I can recommend this radio and from 40 years being in this hobby ! I look for good overal performance and this has it !!! A bit pricey to get new but I'm very pleased with my purchase as it has alot going for it so yes it's a good value and it's been a long time folks since we have got a new SSB radio from President company... All in all, a well thought out well designed fun radio to own and enjoy for years to come ! 73's

2 of 2 found this helpful The Galaxy 2547 is really not that special of a radio but I do like the layout of it... myself being in the CB radio hobby since the 1970s I pretty much know what I like and what I don't like and what to expect. However this radio was done up by Lester at Lescomm inc. who did a wonderful job as always as I own a handful of radios that he has did and I'm always happy and content with them !!! He also has a special received notification that he does that I simply love !! So this radio is no ordinary radio now and it's awesome... out of the box stock these radios really aren't that great is as a side note... but in the hands of a very capable experienced technician who loves what he does we're talking about, this radio went pro it's top dawg now. Special thanks to Lester !
