AKG P120 is my new main microphone for my studio!
I've used my main mic for several years and it's served me well. However, the AKG P120 caught my ear and I had to purchase one! There's no better quality sound and clarity for the price you'll find anywhere! I do voice over work and this mic surpassed my expectations! I'll still use my older main mic and it'll be good for various purposes and for a certain sound I've had, however, the AKG P120 is outstanding with a better quality sound that I was expecting from a mic at this price! Great build! Great quality sound! I'd highly recommend it to anyone!

MXL990 - GREAT mic!
I think the MXL 990 is the greatest condenser mic for the price range. BUILT LIKE A TANK! Db noise level is 20 but from what I understand it’s half that of the average human ear that can hear it. Not bad! Sure more expensive mics have a lower Db but at what cost and is it noticed? By some standards yes but overall this is a GREAT mic! I have THREE of them! THAT’S how much I like them!
