Used Toshiba Satellite L305-S5919
I downgraded this unit's Windows VISTA Home Basic which was very difficult to set up with new software and games (VISTA refused to load Adobe Flashplayer 23) to Windows XP Professional. (The DVD player software downloaded directly from the Toshiba website was glitched and would not work in VISTA.) The laptop now is very responsive with instant switching from one display to another and very easy to navigate in Windows XP classic mode. All software loaded works perfect now. The display is bright and sharp and the used battery lasts slightly over two hours. The keyboard has an excellent touch feel and is large enough for big hands to navigate comfortably. Very pleased with the purchase. Windows XP in classic mode runs circles around Windows VISTA and Windows 7 with their RAM consuming fade-in and fade-out intensive graphics displays.

Windows XP Home SP3 incorporated
One thing I have learned is that Windows XP in classic mode will run circles around Windows 7 and Windows VISTA. Windows 7 and Windows VISTA use fade-in and fade-out displays that really slow down access time and are very difficult for my old brain to navigate within, besides consuming an unreasonable amount of memory. It works a lot better to use OLD software in OLD computers. I downgrade operating systems in my computer fixing hobby generating a much, much more responsive computer. Having SP3 incorporated saves a lot of time and hard drive space installing service packs separately.

Logitech B-120 wired computer mice
I include the mice with the laptops I repair to assist in navigating the display. It is so much easier then using the laptop touch pad. And Logitech has a reputation for being an excellent product.
