A must for anyone serious about skin care
4 of 4 found this helpful I'm a 50+ woman who never gave a great deal of thought or dedicated any time to skin care, but one day the harsh reality of what was staring back in the mirror horrified me. I realized that I needed help to the skin that I truly wanted and desired. After years of globbing what goop I bought at the discount beauty areas and thinking I was doing my part to maintain my skin from the ravages of aging, I decided that it was time to seek the help of the professional.
Let me say at this point that I am not discouraging women who are lucky enough to be able to purchase the readily available items in the drug and grocery stores. There are really good products there to be found and used as well and maybe if I had been diligent 30 years ago, I would be shopping those items with great satisfaction. Howbeit, I was not that smart and am now finding myself having to work very hard to repair my negligence.
My skin care professional is responsible for introducing me to the Dermalogica skin care line. This was one of her first picks for me in getting started to the me under the layers of dried, neglected skin. It has been 5 weeks now and I am very pleased with the direction my skin is taking. This product was instrumental in getting it all started. I have found that I cannot use this twice a day any longer, it can become very drying, but I use it each night after a day in a harsh work environment and making sure that all traces of 16-hour makeup have been removed. I now use Dermalogica's Essential Cleanser for my morning regimen. It's milder and more hydrating before putting on a new coat of "war paint" (makeup) for another day.
You can purchase this item with confidence that it will do exactly what it promises when used as directed. And if you were like me and waited a long while to get serious about making a difference in your skin, seek out a reliable estetician that can get you on the right path for your skin type.
The only issue with the Dermalogica line of products is the price. Be prepared for stick-shock if you haven't purchased salon grade cosmetics in recent years. You'll have to decide if your "worth" it....and you are!!!

Friskies = happy felines
It's one of the few flavors my cats will eat so I leave them as the experts to rate the quality of the product. Right now it is very difficult finding any of the Friskies in the pate form. I'm told it's a logistics problem getting products to the stores. Animals still have to eat and most pet owners will go to great lengths to get what their pets like and have come to expect. I can only say that I have four happy kitties! Thank You!
