False story that missed richness of Frida

The writer/producer had NO background in Frida's suffering from polio and then many successive surgeries. They discredited and disrespected this warrior who creatively discovered a way to manage pain, depression, disappointment. The movie imagined a totally different woman to write a romantic novel. I'm so saddened that Frida continues to have producers who don't know her! I was meeting with my Book Club to present Frida. I ordered this DVD, quite excited that I could add some excerpts to the presentation. I will destroy the DVD and never give such a false story to libraries.
