The price is less than half of retail.
We went to the appliance store where we purchased our refrigerator. . The sales staff proceeded to tell us we could not find the filter for the new four door Whirlpool for less than they were selling it. ($49.99) I am thankful that I did not purchase the filter on impulse. I went home to check out prices on the web. Low and behold eBay is selling the filter for a third of the cost. It was easy to replace, and works perfectly. No more red light flashing on the panel "Your killing your family with toxic water".
