Super Scarecrow!
This sturdy, jointed sweet guy comes just as described, with large parts easy for little hands to move--with supervision. It's not a toy, but will stand up to gentle manipulation. Cute smile, not at all dopey/smarmy like so many "modern" scarecrows. OK, I'm old-fashioned! I love it! Could also be used as a template for kids to make their own scarecrow, with help.

A Warm Introduction to the Life of Barack Obama
This is a wonderful book, full of colorful illustrations and interesting facts about Barack's life. The little stories about events in his childhood are especially fascinating for children. The large print lends an inviting look to the pages. An excellent, absorbing book for readers eager to spread their wings a little and try biography.
