Nitecore head lamp
1 of 1 found this helpful I work in a power plant as an electrician/instrumentation technician. A lot of the time the light quality in areas we work is less than convienent. Having the bright light that last a few hours is a great tool for my work. Rechargeable batteries are a must with this light for daily use. On the high setting the light usually last about 1hr but that is extremely bright. Out of the 5 settings i usually have it set on the 3rd brightness. Now that's not saying in certain cases I haven't used the brightest setting for extended periods of time either. I just had to carry a few extra batteries with me. I have the light mounted on my hard hat. It's not as easy to remove the light from the head strap as I would like to make the light a hand held, but when it's really bright, I don't need to move it around either.
