Chutes And Ladders Game

Almost Classic...But Not Quite

Nice game that appears to be the travel-size version of the beloved Classic game. Only 3 folks can play (versus the usual 4), and the illustrations have been modernized a bit, looking much zanier than the original. That said, something is lost in translation here, as the pictures take away some of the impact of the ladder or chute you go down, making it less visceral (and less relatable), as a result. Consequences are of no real consequence here, so any potential lessons learned from doing "good" or "bad" are gone. Still, a good game for a vacation by car, plane, boat or otherwise; the compact size makes this a good time virtually anywhere!

Small, But Packs A Punch!

Great little Bluetooth speaker for a nominal cost; sound is rich and full -- especially when used with a small device like a smartphone or a tablet. I bought another one to pair with the first, for balanced Left/Right sound, and had a hard time getting my tablet to designate which one was the lead speaker by my choice, so wound up with mono sound for awhile. However, it ultimately worked out after a few attempts, and all was well. DOES NOT work with flat-screen TVs, or larger Bluetooth devices, which, while not a deal breaker, was a little disappointing; guess I will eventually have to break down and get a sound bar for that. Overall, EXCELLENT product with a cool design that my five-year-old likes on the rare occasions he is able to pair them with his iPad for video watching. FiveStars.
