Glue gun needed
They work only if you have a good glue gun to add a lot of extra strips of glue all over them, if you don't they get wet and crumple and don't work. Don't be skimpy with the glue or you'll regret it. I've had this humidifier for 10 years in Ohio. Glue the crap out of the wicks and then they'll work fine all wintet
