A Usable Domestic laptop
3 of 3 found this helpful This is a fine laptop for domestic and office type work. It is lightweight, but may not be robust enough for use "on the road". Around the home it is fine. The keyboard is a little spongy, especially around the middle of the keyboard, but this does not cause miss typing.
The i3 processor is a little on the slow side by modern office standards, but it is perfectly acceptable for home use. The screen is clear and sharp, and the plastic case is a really nice shade of blue!!
On the whole, a really good buy for the money, with a good guarantee of 1 year from Argos. Others have commented that Lenovo include unnecessary software, and this does need to be deleted. There is enough usable and free software on line for you to choose what you want to install, so there is no need for the in place Office 365, or trial 1 month use of McAfee antivirus. One of Lenovo's own bits of "helpful" software left on the machine time expired last year anyway! For domestic use Avast Free, and FreeOffice 2016 are perfectly acceptable alternatives. Windows 10 takes a little getting used to, but once you get the hang of it you only need to delve into it's depths very occasionally.
Only time will tell if this machine is durable, but it does all still work at the moment. I think it is a suitable safe buy for use as described.

Good value quality name CD R's
These are very good recordable disks capable of X40 recording speed (certainly for music). The only drawback is that they dont come on a spindle.
