Love these cases
I’ve been using these cases for the last 30 years. There have been some minor changes in how they latch over that period, but the measurements have remained consistent. Whenever I get a new handgun, I like to use these cases for the uniformity and the compactness. They help with storage and shelving.

Converting a 40 to a 9, super barrel
1 of 1 found this helpful Haven’t shot it yet, but just going on appearance, it’s everything you’d expect from Sig. I’m using an older P229 that was in 40 cal and converting it to shoot 9mm. I couldn’t find a 9mm conversion barrel, so I went the longer route of 9mm slide, barrel, recoil spring, and magazine. While waiting for the correct spring, I took a 226 3 wire spring and cut it to size (removed 2 loops). Still looking for a range day.

Can’t go wrong!
I couldn’t be more pleased with these mags. They are excellent. I’ve had the opportunity to use them at the range with my 1918 DWM Luger. Capacity is 8 rounds. The nickel mag bodies are easy to keep clean. You’ll probably not want to remove the base plates because they’re double pinned into the mag body.
