Factual, Laura Bush writes about her early beginnings in Texas Her highschhol, meeting her husband,, raising her twin daughters in the Governor,s Mansion of Texas and in the White House. She was in the Us Capitol Building when the Twin Towers were hit and her husband reading a book to young children in a Florida classroom. Life changed for them and the world that day.

Quality book: informative, wonderful photographs, history and how a family can have private space for quality private family life …photos from earlier administrations gives a glimpse of life for those families enjoying the home and how family life can be functional and for state functions….From the Governor Ogilvie administration through the Governor Rauner administration I had my class of fifth graders conduct a press conference with the Governor or First Lady to give them a real life experience of journalism as a reporter… They took photos of this event… The television and newspapers in our central Illinois communities covered this event and students interested in becoming a reporter got to see them in the working world…. This book is worth buying and reading either before or after one takes a tour….
