The Best
The only battery I’ll buy anymore. Made in the USA. Shelf life is pretty much forever, because the acid is sealed until you open it and pour it in. Get a good charger/maintainer and this battery will serve you well.

Gotta Have It
If you’ve got an FZ6, you need two essential books: the official Yamaha Service Manual (available cheap on eBay), and this Haynes Service & Repair Manual. The main difference is that the Service Manual has all the technical info you could need, like torque specs and types of lube to use on every part—so it’s a fantastic reference tool… while the Haynes book makes good use of photos that show the step-by-step processes a little more clearly. There’s plenty of overlap between the two books, but in my opinion it’s worth owning both.
