Xantrex XM-1800 inverter

Replacement for previous unit that failed due to a power surge. Price was lower than other preowned units available so was surprised to find it looked unused and in near new condition visually. I found the compass to be useless. The signal finder is very insensitive and requires careful observation to see the slight needle deflection when a satellite is found. While inexpensive and does provide the ability to find the satellite however adjusting to maximum signal strength requires using the signal finder built into the satellite receiver equipment.
