Well built but minimum heat is way too hot for anything but steaks
This grill is very well put together with one noticeable exception: the regulator valve lets way too much propane even in its lowest position. Don't think that connecting it to a 20lb propane tank and using the valve at the regulator will solve this problem. The lowest temperature you can get on this unit is around 500F, which is great for steaks and things that need searing, but way too hot for just about anything else. A quick search on the internet revealed that many had encoutered the exact same problem. Some people have resolved the issue by swapping the regulator with a betterr one or by inserting a controlled valve prior to the regulator to cut down the flow of propane. I will be trying something iike this soon as I really like the grill otherwise for my RV and camping escapades. If you are not handy, just take this to a store that specializes in grills and someone will help you with what is needed.
