AKG Perception 100
This is very nice mic for use in a controlled environment. I use it for VO work and with a little EQ in Pro Tools it sounds very natural and open.
You can, however, easily "overwhelm" it in a "close-up" setting, i.e. when talking into it from 3 to 5 inches away. Much more so than the AT 4030 (which is a much more expensive mic) or even the Samson C01 (which is a much less expensive mic). The SPL on this mic must be fairly low as I can "clip" the mic well before the signal itself hits the recording ceiling.
It's not a horrible issue, just something to be aware of. I am, overall, very pleased with this purchase.

Tivo Series 2
What's not to like? If you're still watching standard def TV, a Tivo will change the way to watch it forever. I've had the cable company DVR's and hated the interface. Tivo is much more intuitive.
It's agreat product from a great company with great customer service.

Cheap and works!
It sometimes a little screwy to put on, but for the price it's great.
It provides good shade and you can't see it even at full wide.
I use it in on my 17 to 85.
