The Perfect Filter for the Large Fish Tank!
A great, powerful filter ideal for the larger fish tank -. high quality and long life. Easy to maintain. I have three and will not hesitate to get a fourth when needed. My only negative comment is that it can be difficult to remove the siphon tube from the main body tank of the filter for cleaning - it must be taken apart in the fish tank before removal. The vertical portion of the tube seats in a ,molded recess in the the front of the filter tank body. The outlet end inside the filter has a large round plastic piece surrounding it making it difficult to move in the filter tank. The siphon tube cannot be pulled straight up to remove because the the connecting joints in the vertical portion of the tube cannot slide through the molded seat. You'll have to get your hands wet taking the tube segments apart and then wiggling and tilting the top to get it out of the filter tank for cleaning. A minor inconvenience for an otherwise great product. Highly recommend!
