Excellent product and HUGE bang for the buck in the used market
1 of 1 found this helpful I replaced a 1700 with this and as you might expect there was an appreciable up tick in performance. Now for some reason after updating the UEFI and drivers my installation of Windows tanked hard (10 minute boot times hard) and it required me to just nuke it and reinstall (which you should do every 3ish years anyway IMO). After that everything flies!
My motherboard is an ASRock X370 Fata1ity Gaming X, AMD allowing 3rd year CPUs to work in 1st year MBs is such an awesome move and why I went to AM4 when it came out. I can easily wait until 2023 and move to AM5.

Perfect addition to my laptop
Adding a ssd is always a plus, moved windows temp folders the to help with io bottle neck
