Wilson Launchpad Irons - Pound for Pound, Excellent Value

After hitting forged blades for a number of years playing many rounds a season, I needed irons that gave me more forgiveness on off center hits. I went from playing 2 1/2 rounds a week to max 4 rounds a month. So forgiveness was pivotal. I saw a Peter Finch review of these Launchpad irons with the appearance of a hybrid design. He compared the Launchpad to new Stealth and Cobra iron sets. His opinion, pound for pound, was that these Wilson sticks were best value at $699. So when these came up as new on eBay for $350 + S/H, I bought them. I have 27 holes in with them now and can say without reservation that these were well worth the money. I was having trouble getting a decent height with my ball flight and spin to hold the greens. These clubs checked both improvement boxes. In conclusion, nice sticks, like the performance, happy with the purchase.
