A must for Alice pack users
1 of 1 found this helpful At first test with maybe a 40# ruck these feel fantastic. A huge upgrade over original. I have no doubt at heavier loads 60-70# they will still do a great job. Also for those who ruck a lot, the Alice pack wins hands down over the MOLLE issues rucks because of shoulder strap placement for me anyways. I've carried 70-90# loads with the MOLLE and if not set up correctly have fun!! The straps are too wide set. The Alice are more close together to utilize the shoulder muscles much more efficiently. Pair these with a TT super belt and it's perfect.

Awesome Visors!! A must have for your Montero Limited.
Got these visors because they seemed they were the only ones that were large in size compared to others on the market. They are also very well priced considering what you get out of the box. They come with some hardware and alcohol pads so you can clean the surface before sticking them on. The fit and finish is perfect and they look great. They are pretty dark tint so it definitely helps with sun glare and allows you to put your windows down a good 4 inches and stay dry.
The 3m sticky backs are very strong and I don't see these going anywhere any time soon and it's been very hot where I live which usually is a weak point for sticky anything. I've also been in some pretty heavy rain driving and still stuck on well.
The only reason I didn't give 5 starts is because the hardware include A: didn't really have directions to it and B: is pretty useless. It's just not really needed however you are left with exposed holes in the visors and some rain can leak through there if it's really coming down.
I remedied this problem by just filling the holes with a glue gun. Just squeeze a dollop of hot glue from a glue gun in the holes and they are filled and remain clear. Other than that they are great.

Great lens for walking around and such a different perspective at 17mm
3 of 3 found this helpful This is my first L lens to pair with my nifty 50 and I must say I'm so glad I got it. I originally wanted the 24-105 however I am so glad I got the 17-40 for the simple fact that on a Full Frame sensor 17mm is so amazing to capture a different perspective. It doesn't seem that much from 17-24 but the perception and field of view is simply stunning. It's great for those small tight spaces where you want to capture a scene and even at 40mm lifestyle candid portraits are not to bad. Now at F4 you don't get that creamy bokeh that you would from say a 2.8 or 1.4 ect however it's still pleasing if your subject is far away from anything in the background.
The lens is very sharp and even at 40mm F4 you can still focus pretty close and is nice and sharp. There is def some dark edges at both 17 and 40mm however it's easily remedied in post processing. The focusing is super fast and locks on nicely as well. I would recommend this lens to anyone looking for a reasonably prices L lens who likes landscapes or just walking around and wants to capture the moment you might be in.
