Deep feature set in a compact body
1 of 1 found this helpful The S700 is easy to use at a basic level. Set the dial to "auto" and start snapping pictures. However there's a lot more if you dig deeper. First, find the manuals on the Nikon website. There is a short introductory manual, but be sure to download the long (180 pages!) PDF file. I've loaded it in the Kindle app on my iPad. That's where you find all the cool features: HDR, time lapse movies, high speed (120fps) movies, continuous shooting, smile detection portraiture, a very long zoom with vibration reduction... These are some of my favorites, but I'm still finding may way around. I'm trying to try a good sample of the features while the 90 day warranty on refurbished products is in force. So far the only malfunctions have been mine. I'm very happy with my purchase.
