Cheap, but will do the job

What can I say but cheap looking. I thought that the scale would be something you see in like a farmer's market area, possibly a mom-pop deli. The outside of the scale looks like something I would buy at a flea-market in those bulk acquired goods mark-off boxes. I can say that it surely does look like a "you got what you paid for" item. I more would expect this item to cost $10.00 vs what it costs. The packaging was not great, so the tray arrived bent, easy to fix. The plastic casing surrounding the scale is a cheap soft plastic. The power adapter was one to charge an internal battery which looks like it was changed from the original design. Bought this to use when buying in bulk and separating the goods. This will definitely work for that. I just wish the quality looked better.

Poor Quality parts

Bolts broke off as soon as tightened. This makes this product a very dangerous and inferior product. I highly recommend that it is not used on anything with the bolts supplied. Should be at least grade 5 bolts and should not shear on tightening by hand. If the bolts were this bad, how bad is the actual steel used to make the device.
