Works perfectly
I have an older PlayStation 3 and a Logitech Harmony One universal remote. Both are discontinued products, but I love them! So I've bought 3-4 extras and stashed them away, just in case.
This adapter allows my Logitech remote to operate the PlayStation. My old one's power supply died after six years, so I bought this replacement. Three of them, of course, just in case.
It works perfectly. If you have any sort of universal remote that you want to use with the PS3, then this is your product!
