Anne of Green Gables - The Continuing Story (DVD, 2004)

Anne of Green Gables not hardly.

The DVD arrived on time and was in excellent condition. Unfortunately, the story in this movie did not live up to that quality of the first two installments of Anne of Green Gables. Why the writer went off in this new direction left me scratching my head after the movie. I was looking forward to seeing a romance between Anne and Gilbert bloom, but Gilbert had a bit part in this movie. Most of the movie was about Anne looking for Gilbert after he went missing in France during World War One.
