Nice, but soft sounding!

This egg shaker is very cool looking, and is the same size as the plastic ones you can get elsewhere. That said, it isn't very loud. Maybe half the volume of the aforementioned plastic ones. I say this because there may be settings where you want a louder one (such as a caroling group like I was going to use this with). I think this would be fine for a more intimate environment, or just to practice without disturbing others. May be recording as well. Other than that, very nice for the price!
