Surprisingly effective
1 of 1 found this helpful My windlass had been less and less effective, and it had reached the point where manual assist was simply expected. The boat being ten years old, but new to us, I decided (blindly) to look into replacing wear parts and ordered this pressure arm (and a new stripper). In pulling apart the windlass, I found that it had never been serviced, the previous arm was completely destroyed, and although it took a good couple of hours for me to figure out how to get the darn thing apart (what with finding tools) and back together...it was well worth the effort. The owner's manual says they should be serviced every three years, so I'll put this on the rotation list for another look in three years if not sooner. Good investment, good result.

Upgrade your morning coffee.
1 of 1 found this helpful Yeah, I know that it isn't the five bar barista curated version that is delivered by people in aprons in demitasse porcelain, but the latte and cappuccino are easy to make with existing K-cups, awesome with custom blends, and the milk frother is the bomb. Plus, you still have the basic coffee to which we've all become accustomed. We own rental property and have started adding these as the go-to for ourselves and our guests. Doesn't take much effort to upgrade your morning.

Surprisingly good choice
USCG Master Captain, rehabbing a Florida 42 Carver bridge boat from Florida. Realized late in the season that it didn't have any bilge heat, and even though we were working in temperate climates (Atlanta, GA) it struck me that one good cold snap could freeze the glass reveals on the seastrainers and make a mess of things. Had never heard of this brand and was looking at the two other major players, but couldn't pass up something at half the price and allegedly same or better performance. So far, we've had one snap below freezing...the heater came on as expected and did it's job. Not sure that I'd trust it in a somewhat cavernous bilge if the boat were a lot further north, but for the climate and the conditions, I couldn't be more pleased. Note: you either need to hardwire/plug into the 120v side for shore power or use an inverter.
