Constricting Rage
Outstanding thrashy Black/death metal. Solid riffs, powerful delivery-this is the good stuff. Recorded on analog, this sounds pretty great on vinyl. The artwork is particularly gripping in the larger format. A definite must have.

Essential Listening
It’s Opeth. ‘Nuff said. This one is a sweeping epic of a progressive death metal masterwork and should be savored like a fine wine. Haunting, driving, it’s one of those rare albums I’d call “perfect.” My old CD copy was stolen years ago; this 180 gram vinyl sounds incredible. Yes, I know digital media is technically a superior format, but the light surface noise and fullness of the analog really lends itself well to metal music-this one in particular sounds excellent. Can’t recommend it enough.
