Not a simple swap
I got these for my 1980 CJ7 Laredo. First off they are made great and look great. I had to modify my headlight buckets to accommodate the lights. I had to cut the backs of my buckets to hold the lights. Also I really can’t tell a difference if they are brighter. It could be something else wrong with my Jeep but I’ve done a complete off frame on it so there shouldn’t be any issues. All and all they are a good quality light. I will be installing hids so that I can see better

Not perfect
The leaf spring seems to be ok. The tie bolt that comes with the item is very poor quality. It’s like a size smaller than the factory one and the threads stripped rite off as soon as it tightened up. Luckily the factory bolt was long enough to use with the ad a leaf.
