Presto pressure cooker gasket set
It's a gasket. What can I say? And, by oiling it with cooking oil, the pressure cooker top slides onto the base so much more easily than the old one did.

A fabulous expresso machine, but with one reservation if used in greater Los Angeles...if true...
This older model of the Jura E8 automatic expresso machine is easy to use, makes delicious coffee from whole beans in quantities I can select and is a fabulous replacement of my previous (non-Jura-brand) expresso machine.
I live in greater Los Angeles County. So, my only complaint is that due to chemicals dumped into the local water supply by LA County, it's been highly suggested that I use only Reverse Osmosis or distilled water in the unit in order to avoid the buildup of salts(?) in the boiler which would cause damage.
