Solid and good copy of OEM magazine, spring seems slightly inferior (but OK)
1 of 1 found this helpful ProMag did an awesome job of copying the OEM 10-round magazine for the S&W M&P 9mm (not Shield). It's solid and is identical to the S&W magazine in every way that counts ... except for the spring. While loading this magazine the first time, bullets went in strangely. The back of the bullet went down too far and I had to right that bullet before loading the next. But when I got used to it, it seemed to load just fine and shoot without jamming. I'm not a gun expert at all, and I've only had my M&P for a few months, but I've shot a few hundred rounds with it, and loading this magazine definitely felt off at first, but once I got used to it, it was fine.
I feel fortunate to have found this product on eBay -- I seem to have bought the last OEM S&W 10 round 9mm magazine in the whole United States a few months ago (I could find a couple of them in Canada but they won't ship to USA). When I tried to find a second one, there were none to be found. I spent months looking. (I live in CA, and the 17-round magazines that came with it are illegal here). The price is about 1/3 less than I paid for the OEM magazine. See pictures.
