    Best irons I've ever had!!
My clubs were stolen two years ago, just shortly after I purchased a Deep Red driver. I liked the driver so much I replaced my irons with the Deep Red Distance, 4 iron thru lob wedge (graphite, Lite flex). They are the best irons I have ever hit! Center hits are buttery smooth - you don't even feel (or hear) the ball on the clubface, and mis-hits are acceptable. Ball flight is fairly high and very straight. I find it difficult to hit a hard draw or hard fade with these clubs, but I'll take straight any day! I'm not a big hitter, but I'm happy with the distance and the consistency these clubs give me. Even my 5 iron shots land, take one bounce and stop on a dime! The first thing one notices about the club is that the shaft looks like tree trunk. But after playing the clubs for a round you won't even notice it anymore. I think the fat shafts another example of very good technology that just didn't catch on with the buying public. In my opinion, these shafts give the club remarkable stability and flexibility without being 'whippy', even in the 'Lite'(or Senior) flex configuration. I also like the balance the shafts give the club - you can feel the head out there, but it's not like a sledgehammer - just a nice sense of mass at the other end of the shaft. I was somewhat concerned about the wedges (PW,Gap, SW, Lob), but have learned to appreciate them. I think it may be more important to maintain the look and feel throughout the full set than to suddenly use different clubs inside 120 yards. (I'm not referring to cosmetic 'look and feel', but how your body responds to the club when you are over the ball.) I get a nice progression in distances with the wedges (about 8 yrs), except I have a 20 yard gap between my PW and Gap. It's probably just me, but it's weird (yes - I've checked the loft). I wouldn't switch to Titleist or Cleveland wedges if you gave them to me. I'm very happy with how the Deep Red wedges work and how they fit with the rest of the set.

    Good story, but formatting issues
Very good story, but I couldn't get the .pdf file to convert to .mobi for my Kindle. I tried converting it with both Calibre and Cloud Convert, and got the same results using both apps - many lines of text had only one word on them. Everything was legible, it just took a lot of page turning. On the other hand, the story was very interesting and well written.
