Lawn Boy 7072 F Series 21 Inch Push Mower Rewind Starter 683212

Saved a great mower from obsolescence!

Was able to obtain this fully functional rewind starter and save my 40 year old Lawn Boy mower from the scrap heap. This mower's engine ran fine, the deck is aluminum, so no worries about rust-through. However, when I broke the starter rewind spring earlier this season, it became useless. Local shops could not order the parts, and even then they seemed reluctant to work on the "antique". Very few had even seen a two-stroke engine on a push mower. I started watching eBay and added the part number as a watched item. Took almost 3 months to find one, but it was all worth it when I put this on and reassembled everything. Works like new.

Perfect fitment but NOT BLUE as stated in description.

Fits perfectly, but shocks are NOT blue in color. I ordered these specifically to match the vehicle's blue exterior paint color. Not a big deal if description had not specifically made the blue color a central part of the ad.

Good guality and durable.

This spacer kit is necessary if you are to change the cutting height of the mower. Because of wheel wear, it may be necessary to use different spacers on the wheel shafts to regain even cutting height. Better get at least two of these kits when you order to achieve maximum effectiveness.
