Lots of heat!

This kerosene heater is simple to use. Just plug it in and touch one button. So far I have used just K1 kerosene, but it says you can use diesel fuel, and cheaper kerosene. With the K1 there is almost no smell at all at start up, and once fired up, there is no odor at all. I would suggest also purchasing a carbon monoxide detector; again because there is no odor. I will update this later this winter when I have had a chance to use other fuels to see if it is still odor free of any fumes. I am amazed at how quickly it heats a 12' X 24' area. It went from 40 to 60 degrees in a very short time and I had to shut it off. The only drawback I see is that it can not be regulated. It's full blast or shut off. I plan to use it to warm my shed up quickly, and then use another source of heat. I have a wood stove and a propane heater. Either should be a good combination to use with this kerosene heater. For filling, I would also suggest a portable hand pump for filling the tank. I purchased a cheap plastic one and it works great. This prevents any spills, as the filler cap is not in a position to pour from a jug or any container. It's a well built heater, and so far I have to give it 5 stars.
