Quality Horn Kit

If you are looking to replace the feeble horn(s) that came fitted to your car you could do a lot worse than this kit. These horns are REALLY LOUD. You can of course buy the individual horns and bracket and make up you own cable for a little less, but the kit makes the installation a lot easier/quicker. Although it isn’t mentioned my kit came with a genuine Perrin bracket, adding a further touch of quality to the installation. This horn installation requires that you remove the front bumper, so factor that into the purchase.

Form and Function

Having an engineering background I can tell when a product is designed and manufactured properly, and the Quik-Latches are one of those products. They feel right, they look right and they perform right. Compared to their main Aero Catch competitor, they need a smaller mounting hole, they need a less complex mounting hole, they don't need the drilling of separate fixing holes, they fit better to curved surfaces, and they have a higher service load. Recommended.

Genuine Washers

These are the genuine stepped washers recommended by Subaru, rather than the cheap blank ones the tend to come with new oil filters. I've just used the first one, and as expected it forms a perfect seal.
