Works great - inexpensive LP brush solution
The bristles are a bit stiff out of the box, but after a few applications, they work great. Comments I've read about scratching records seem unlikely. I am completely satisfied with this product.

Great music!
Connie Francis was an important figure in early rock and roll. This CD captures some of her essential work. Later CD editions of her music were "juiced up" - that is, the sound was modified to push loudness - which, for Connie's voice, is NOT a good thing as it can get shrill if it's pushed forward in the mix. This CD was released prior to the loudness craze and has much better sound. Based on that alone, it's a recommended purchase.

Great product that performs!
1 of 1 found this helpful Bar none, the finest pre-amp I've owned over the past 37 years of owning pre-amps! It has all the connections one might need, including 4 RCA inputs, 2 balanced inputs, a full processor loop (sadly, rare these days), a low output (MC) or high output (MM) phono stage, with loading adjustments, a built-in subwoofer crossover with L and R (for stereo subwoofers), and summed (for single subwoofer) outputs on both RCA and balanced connections, and a home theater bypass input (which I don't use, so I can't comment on how well it functions). Also a full array of tone controls is available with a tone control "direct" bypass. The only thing lacking (for some) is digital inputs. I use an external D/A converter with a balanced connection to the XSP-1, so not a problem for me, but some may prefer on-board D/A conversion. It runs very quiet (no mechanical or electrical hum or noise, even with low output MC cartridges) and sounds great! The remote control works fine and the volume increments allow fine-tuning from the listening position. 100% recommended!
