Go back to 1965
1 of 1 found this helpful It's 1965 in Beverly Hills and the local car club, the Hollywood Knights, is spending their last night at the local drive-in hangout .. Tubby's. Tubby's has been considered the scourge of Beverly Hills by the local group of concerned citizens who have made it their task to rid themselves of the Hollywood Knights and after tonight, Tubby's will be torn down, to be replaced by office buildings.
If you're over 50, or love the music of the 60's, or simply remember what it's like to be young, this film is worth the few bucks and 90 minutes of your time. If you're offended by fart jokes, sexual innuendoes and immature humor ... don't bother. You'll probably be offended. But if you can take yourself back to 1965 and remember what it was like cruising the drive-ins, listening to music and trying to imagine getting laid ... then pop the popcorn and turn down the lights.
There are movies that are dramatic, some that are moving, some that make you think about life's big questions. And there are some like this, that just make you laugh. One of my all-time favorites.
