Will make you wait a little when you want to use it.
It's a standard charger which means that it does not contain the chip that lets your Garmin know that you are using a Garmin charger. When you use this your Garmin will take a while to be available for use as you will be informed that something is being downloaded. That is because your Garmin will think that it is connected to a computer and it is waiting for an update. In half a minute or so your Garmin will fire up - but you must wait that little while. Previous to buying this recharger I connect a standard 12 volt recharger to my Garmin and got the same message. I got the same message. But as I mention you will not get that message when you connect a real Garmin charger. Eh....will take half a minute longer . No big deal. Its cheap and it works. That's all that really matters. Good purchase.

It's key size.
Its basically key size. That should have been made more clear. Don't expect to be using this as any sort of pliers. It only opens to perhaps put it on a key chain. I would be hard pressed to think of anything you could actually fix with this thing.
