Black Like Me
1 of 1 found this helpful This was mandatory reading in Madrone Jt High, Sunnyvale Ca. in 1967. These were the days of Watts in La, Hunters Point riots in SF and the Black Panthers were in the new daily. As a 13 year old kid in the Bay Area, the book was my first honest account of Southern Americas "black" world... Now @ 54 years I have often shared this book over the years.
