Stone-simple camp-stove
Having owned a number of portable stoves, these are by far my favorite. This coupled with one of the stainless Swedish mess kits and windshield yields a solidly made and versatile bit of kit.
The Swedish versions are a slightly different cap thread pattern than the more recent "Trangia" stoves, but I have no issues using the damper. The caps will not fit however, and I keep one as a "snuffer".
Do not "hot cap" the stove, as you will damage the O-ring in the cap, and you'll end up with alcohol leaking into your mess-kit or bergen.
Try to avoid using isopropyl alcohol/"HEET" as it seems to leave a nasty residue on cookware. Simple denatured alcohol/methylated spirits is what seems to work best in this stove.

Great model.
The top comes off. If you ever owned one of these, you'll know what I mean.
They even have the back seats positioned right.

Poorly made, not worth your time.
Incorrectly manufactured, and made of inferior materials. The dimension of the pump arm is incorrect to properly contact the cam, and the way the arm is inserted into the body causes it to be prone to disconnecting from the pump body, and possibly falling into the engine if one does not install an extra part.
The materials used for the pump arm are substandard and very soft. I have read reports of the arm collapsing in as little as a few minutes of use.
It comes with a spacer plate, intended to help retain the pump arm, which does nothing to improve the weak to nonexistent performance of the pump. The fasteners provided, while of the correct thread pitch, are far too long. An end user with less experience could easily damage their engine block with this comically bad contrivance, attempting to bolt it on. .
Sadly, every replacement pump for this engine I have encountered so far, has been the same sort of low quality Chinese made ersatz product.
This is in no ways an attack on the seller, whom like many on the net likely believed the lies told by the manufacturer of this steaming bolus about it being "OEM standard" or some such.
